Sharon Monroe joined the Salem family in 2001 shortly after moving to the Apex area with her husband, Tim, and their three, now grown, children. Sharon grew up in Greensboro, NC and accepted Christ at a young age. She re-dedicated her life while in college and served as the Youth Director at her home church the following summer.
After graduating from Meredith College with a degree in Business Administration, Sharon worked in the financial services industry and later as a Preschool Teacher. She joined the Salem staff in 2016 as Ministry Assistant.
Sharon loves her job title because it describes exactly what she seeks to do, which is to assist and serve the various ministries at Salem in making disciples and sharing His story. Sharon enjoys finding ways to help the church office run more smoothly, home improvement projects, bible studies, and spending time with family - especially her grandson.
